PAUL A. SEIGFREID
PRACTICE
In 1996, I began practicing with my wife, Mary Patrick Seigfreid,
in the law firm known as The Seigfreid Law Firm, LLC. My practice has been primarily in the area of
general civil and trial practice, including products liability, medical malpractice, toxic
tort, and workers' compensation. In addition to trial practice, I have practiced
extensively in the area of corporate law, focusing primarily on formation, dissolution, and
contract enforcement. I serve as the primary counsel for a number of small, privately held
corporations and LLC's, private not-for profit corporations, and public entities in
Missouri. Several financial institutions and insurance companies have retained my services
as local or area counsel.
Prior to my practicing
with The Seigfreid Law Firm, LLC, I practiced with the law firm of Seigfreid, Runge,
Leonatti & Pohlmeyer, P.C. beginning in 1984. In 1989, I was elected a director of
Seigfreid, Runge, Leonatti, Pohlmeyer, Hagan & Seigfreid, P.C., and vice-president and
treasurer in 1991. The name of the firm was changed in 1994 to Leonatti & Seigfreid,
P.C., where I continued to serve as vice-president and treasurer until leaving in April,
1996.
Practicing
in a rural area, I also have experience in real estate practice, estate planning,
including formation of all types of trusts and wills, and estate administration.
I am licensed to
practice before all civil courts in Missouri, including the Supreme Court of Missouri, the
Missouri State Court of Appeals, the United States Federal District Court for the Eastern
District of Missouri, United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and the
United States Supreme Court.
We represent many families and their companies, local, national and international.
